Temperature is basically a physical property of matter that quantitatively conveys the common notions of hot and cold. Object with low temperature are refer to as been cold, while various object of higher temperature are refer to as been warm or hot. When ever a heat transfer path is open between two objects or more object, heat flow through each object until the heat energy is evenly distrusted through out each object. The flow rate of heat increases when objects have different temperatures, but when the temperature of the objects is the same no heat transfer take place because the object are said to be in Thermal Equilibrium.
Temperature is measured with thermometers, which are usually calibrated to a variety of temperature scales for different application/usage. Some thermometers are design to measured human body temperature, temperature of industrial substances, temperature of natural occurring substances etc.
Thermometers are widely utilize in science and technology base fields.
